Robert Allen Park is described as Hawaiian

Remains found earlier this month on Hawaii island in an abandoned house in the Fern Acres subdivision have been identified as that of a 47-year-old man reported missing in 2012.

Hawaii island police said Robert Allen Park of Mountain View was reported missing on Oct. 22, 2012. His body was identified on Monday through dental records. Results of an autopsy conducted on Jan. 7 are pending, although police report foul play is not suspected.

Park’s remains were found on Jan. 6 in an abandoned house on Pikake Street.
