Prosecutors have charged a 55-year-old Waipahu man with robbing a Bank of Hawaii branch three times.

Edmund Lisowski allegedly robbed the Bankoh branch in Waipahu on Oct. 16, Nov. 22 and Monday, police said.

Prosecutors charged Lisowski on Wednesday with three counts of second-degree robbery and second-degree theft. He is being held in lieu of $35,000 bail.

A man walked into the Bankoh Waipahu branch at 11:25 a.m. Monday, passed the teller a demand note. Upon receiving the money, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

An all-points bulletin was issued, and police found and detained the suspect. After he was identified by witnesses, police arrested him.
