An argument between roommates ended up with one of them in jail and the other with injuries.

Police said the two men began arguing before 2 p.m. Wednesday at their Puunui home. The argument escalated with the suspect allegedly attacking his 35-year-old roommate. The victim took himself to the hospital to be treated.

Officers arrested the 39-year-old suspect on suspicion of second-degree assault.
