Honolulu police are searching for a man who tried to enter a locked Waipahu store late Saturday night by flashing a weapon to employees who were inside, police said.

Two women, ages 45 and 33, reported the incident to police around 11:42 p.m., according to police records.

The man fled the area after not being able to enter the building, police said. A suspect has not yet been located.

Police are also searching for a man who allegedly tried to rob a Honolulu area business early Sunday morning.

Police said a man also displayed a dangerous weapon and demanded money before fleeing the area.

A 26-year-old man reported the incident to police around 12:15 a.m.
