Heavily travelled and surely one of the most dangerous roads on the island. I drive this corridor six days a week and am surprised there are not more accidents. Sen. Michelle Kadani (who also sits on the MTA Board) must have more important issues than the upgrade of this stretch of road. In her 2011 Session in Review she stated she convinced the state DOT to “at the very minimum, resurface Kamehameha Hwy. from Waikalani Drive to Ka Uka Blvd.” This is 2014 and the surface of Kamehameha Hwy continues to DISINTEGRATE. The fourteen million appropriated must have gone somewhere else. In the meantime taxpaying citizens drive in third world conditions.

Lanikuhana is in Mililani, not Waipio.
