The man who died after falling from a cliff on the Big Island has been identified as 24-year-old Keylan Sato of Honolulu.

Hawaii Police Department said Sato fell from a cliff in Pepeekeo approximately 80 feet on Sunday at 11:28 a.m.

Sato was reportedly hiking to the shore to dive with his friends when he fell, Hawaii Police said.
