LAST UPDATED: 07:55 p.m. HST, Feb 12, 2014

Maui police are looking for a missing Makawao woman who is five-months pregnant.

Carly Joann Scott was last seen on Sunday at about 8 p.m. at her sister's home in Haiku.

When her sister didn't hear from Scott on Monday, she went to her sister's home to check on her, but couldn't find Scott.

Her mother reported Scott missing on Tuesday.

Scott was last seen in her silver 1997 Toyota 4Runner with Hawaii license plate MDE889. The vehicle has a silver skull in the front grill.

Her mother, Kimberly Scott, said it is unusual for Carly Scott to just leave without telling anyone.

From the Hawaii News Now link below "teams are searching the area along the Hana Highway Wednesday, specifically near mile marker 20. That is where the car of Carly's boyfriend was when he called her for help Sunday night. According to Maui Police sources, Carly went to Hana to help Steven Capobianco who was apparently stuck in Hana. He reported to police that she was following him back to Haiku but all of a sudden, she was gone." So the boyfriend calls for help because he's stuck in Hana......Carly goes to help him and I guess she's really good with cars as she was FOLLOWING HIM BACK TO HAIKU after she apparently fixed the problem. I dunno, if was my lady I'd FOLLOW HER not the other way around.

Does the Maui Police department need help from Honolulu police detectives and investigators? Cannot let these disappearances not be solved, thoroughly invesitigated and all potential evidence gathered in the critical early hours of her known disappearance. If Maui PD does not have the necessary experienced detectives and investigators, for gods sake ask for help and let HPD work with MPD.

They are linked financially I think. Not sure why they don't update on serious cases like this, though.

Update: Her dog was found earlier; now her car has been found (top of Jaws surfbreak). I'm putting dollars on a malasada that her 'ex' tossed her into the ocean.

Something really stinks, with these ex-boyfriends and boyfriend deals. These innocent women cannot keep disappearing like this...I say question the guy's until you get answers. That's the last people to be linked to these women....don't tell me they know nothing. My wife and I were talking last night about something on Kauai happening long time ago.....??????? Anybody recall???? Think women missing or killed, link to serial killings and the person of interest disappearing or stopped. This situation is getting out of control fast...people better step up now because somebody had to see something. This is a social media world with cameras attached to the cell phones.....hello.....that's how you catch these people today. Everybody, on Maui....step up and help....please?
