Texas veterans' home honors fallen Kaneohe Marine

By Erika Engle

POSTED:

A home for veterans will be dedicated in Houston, Texas, Wednesday in honor of  Marine Corps Lance Corporal Ryan A. Miller, who died in combat against enemy forces in Iraq.

Miller served with the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

His family will attend the dedication ceremony in Houston.

The home, as well as another in memory of Specialist Andrew Burkhead, a fallen Army soldier with the 75th Ranger Regiment who completed three tours in Afghanistan, are in a facility known as Camp Hope, which serves veterans working through post traumatic stress.
