Police arrest boy, 14, in alleged robbery of another boy

A 14-year-old boy is under investigation for allegedly beating up and robbing another boy in Kalihi.

Police said the suspect followed a 14-year-old boy around 8 p.m. on Jan. 11. When the victim refused the teen robber's demands, the suspect struck him and fled, police said.

Police arrested the 14-year-old suspect was Tuesday on suspicion of second-dgree robbery and released him pending further investigation.
