Kaeo Aliviado bounced back from his first hitless game of the season with three singles and scored three times to help Hawaii finish off a four-game sweep of Albany with a 12-6 victory on Sunday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium.

Kalei Hanawahine went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and Juliene Jones untied a 5-5 game with a two-run double in the seventh as Hawaii (4-4) evened its record at .500 with its first four-game sweep since beating Sacramento State in April of 2011.

Jordan DePonte (1-1) allowed one hit and an unearned run in two innings of relief to earn the victory. Starter Scott Kuzminsky allowed four runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings with one walk and three strikeouts.

Jones, who started all four games at second base, finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs. With freshman Marcus Doi out for the second straight game with a groin injury, senior Adam Hurley filled in and had three hits. Marc Flores added an RBI double, three walks and three runs scored and designated hitter Jordan Richartz had two hits and scored twice.

Left-hander Andrew Jones earned the save, pitching for the first time since Feb. 18, 2013 against Oregon. Jones, who had Tommy John surgery 11 months ago, needed four pitches to get out of the eighth inning with a double play and struck out two in the ninth.

UH finished with 14 hits.

Hawaii next welcomes Pepperdine to Les Murakami Stadium for a four-game series beginning Wednesday night at 6:35. The Waves are 6-1 after sweeping Utah Valley this weekend.
