Man who died from H-2 fall identified

The Medical Examiner's Office identified the 75-year-old Mililani man who died after falling from Meheula Parkway on to the H-2 freeway last week as Douglas Thorp.

The incident occurred about 6 p.m. on Feb. 20, briefly closing the northbound lanes of the H-2.

I don't believe he "fell" from that bridge. In order to fall, he would have to climb up over the side of the bridge and then "fall" which makes falling impossible. How is that possible?
