2 men charged in Kalihi business robbery

Two men who allegedly injured a woman during a robbery at a Kalihi business earlier this week were charged Friday with second-degree robbery.

Bail was set at $30,000 for 26-year-old Lyle Castro, of Kalihi, and 30-year-old Canaan Pa, who did not give police an address.

Police said Castro, Pa, and a third male entered the store about 3:50 p.m. Wednesday and used force against a 58-year-old female employee while stealing items. The woman sustained minor injuries.

Castro was arrested about an hour later on Dillingham Boulevard near Mokauea Street, and the stolen items were recovered, police said. Pa was arrested Thursday afternoon in Waipahu. The third man has not been identified.
