Man, 19, accused of threatening girls with weapon

A 19-year-old Ewa Beach man is charged with threatening a group of three girls with a weapon,

Pekelo K.K. Melendez was scheduled to be arraigned in District Court Friday on three counts of first-degree terroristic threatening,

His bail is set at $11,000.

Police said the incident occurred at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Ewa Beach. Melendez was with a group of boys who allegedly were taunting three girls, ages 17, 16 and 18, and threatened the girls with a weapon.
