Police ask for public's help in finding driver in Mililani hit-and-run

CrimeStoppers and Honolulu police are looking for any witnesses who can identify the driver of a Honda Civic involved in a hit-and-run incident last week in Mililani.

Police said the driver of the red 1999 Civic struck the victim about 4:55 a.m. on Feb. 19 and fled the scene. The victim was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Lanikuhana and Kuahelani avenues.

Police found the car and seized it as evidence. The driver is wanted for failure to render aid.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME from a cell phone.
