Maui police continued their search for Carly Scott on Tuesday in the area where her sport utility vehicle and clothing were found.

Included in police efforts was the use of a Maui Fire Department helicopter to search between Honomanu and Keanae in areas inaccessible by foot.

The area had been previously searched by land. Tuesday’s effort aimed to complete the search along this section of the coast, police said in a news release.

The 27-year-old woman is five months pregnant.

Scott was last seen on Feb. 9. That evening, family members said, Scott, who was at her sister’s Haiku home, left the residence to help her ex-boyfriend, whose car had broken down around Mile Marker 20 on Hana Highway in Keanae.

Scott, who goes by the nickname Charli, was born in Woodland, Calif., grew up in Sacramento and moved to Maui about 10 years ago.
