Police searching for alleged armed robber in Waipahu

Police are searching for an unknown armed man who allegedly robbed two Waipahu businesses early Saturday morning, Honolulu police said. 

The incidents occurred around 2:15 a.m.

Police said the man walked into a Waipahu establishment armed with a weapon and demanded money but was denied and decided to flee. He proceeded to a different establishment, attempted another armed robbery, and fled that scene as well, according to police records. 

The man has not yet been located.
