Ala Wai woman allegedly assaults police officer

A 19-year-old Ala Wai woman was arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly assaulting a police officer in Waikiki.

Police said the suspect allegedly attacked the police officer at a Kuhio Avenue hotel at 2:25 a.m. The police reports did not say why the suspect was originally questioned by police.

She was arrested on suspicion of assault against a law enforcement officer. She was later released pending further investigation.
