Leeward Community College is asking students to stay alert Monday after a sexual assault was reported on the Pearl City campus.

A female reported the attack happened in a school parking lot about 12:20 p.m. Monday, said Mark Lane, Vice-Chancellor of Administrative Services at LCC. It was not known if the female is a student.

Lane said details of the attack were still being sorted out and were not immediately available. Police were called and the investigation is ongoing.

The school emailed an alert to the UH community and posted a warning on the school’s website.

According to the alert, the suspect is 6 feet 4 inches tall and dark-skinned. He wore a green University of Hawaii shirt, a green hat, and white pants and drove a blue 4-door compact vehicle.
