Two men arrested for allegedly trying to steal copper wiring

Two men were arrested Tuesday morning after they allegedly tried to steal copper wiring in the Nimitz Highway area, police said.

Patrol officers were sent to investigate a suspicious circumstance about 11:54 p.m. Monday. They saw two men, ages 34 and 36, trying to steal copper wiring and arrested them for investigation of second-degree copper theft.
