Woman safe after making kidnapping report

By Star-Advertiser Staff

LAST UPDATED: 01:56 p.m. HST, Mar 15, 2014

A 26-year-old woman is in good condition Saturday after she reported to a roommate that she had been kidnapped and raped.

Police said the woman called her roommate about 6:25 p.m. Friday and reported the kidnapping and rape in a calm voice. Then she said, "He's coming," and hung up the phone. The roommate did not know where the woman was.

Police said officers are closing the case after the woman returned home Saturday in good condition.
