UH running backs coach leaving for Temple

By Stephen Tsai

LAST UPDATED: 08:27 p.m. HST, Mar 17, 2014

University of Hawaii running backs coach Chris Wiesehan is leaving the program to become the offensive line coach at Temple, he confirmed Monday.

He has been with the program two years, starting off as an offensive line coach for the Rainbow Warriors in 2012 and then shifting to running backs the following season after former NFL standout Chris Naeole was hired to coach the O-line in 2013. Wiesehan said the job at Temple was a good opportunity for his he and family. He appreciated the two seasons he coached here.

His last day will be Thursday. He was scheduled to run the NFL Pro Day in California on Thursday, but that now will be handled by UH head coach Norm Chow.

Why do LDS members scare you? They are not a cult. You are so afraid, must be sad to live in fear and ignorance.

Ignorant ones are people like you who assume too much. What's the matter, the cult got to you?

Same ignorant comments from you. You still haven't told us who are members of the LDS faith on staff, or which players are LDS. Guess you must be assuming, which by your definition makes you ignorant.

Seriously, offer the job to Torres already and hire him as soon as he clears the background check. He's already familiar with Hawaii personnel and problbly knows more about the running game than the guy leaving.
