Woman who died after falling from H-1 overpass identified

The Medical Examiner's office identified the 64-year-old woman who died last month after falling from the Bingham Street overpass as Madeline Harcourt.

The victim died at the hospital from blunt force injuries after the fall on Feb. 12 on to the H-1 Freeway. 

The case is still classified as an unattended death pending the results of further tests.

Lots of places in California have the pedestrian overpasses completely fenced up. Maybe if more people intend to commit suicide in this manner Hawaii should consider this type of set up too.

If people in Hawaii intend to commit suicide, no need to jump off a freeway overpass. Just cross the street in a marked crosswalk......judging by the many pedestrian traffic fatalities lately, this method would be much simpler.

The next overpass going east is the pedestrian overpass at Isenberg St. Why do they keep calling the scene of this incident the Bingham St. overpass? Bingham St. runs parallel to H1 and intersects all three of these overpasses. So which overpass did this occur at?
