Prosecutors have filed an enhanced felony abuse charge against a 36-year-old Wahiawa man following his latest arrest for assaulting a family member.

John Davis Jr. was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly assaulting a 32-year-old woman on Monday. While Davis was in custody, police learned that Davis had three prior convictions for abuse of a family or household member. The charge against Davis was subsequently upgraded from a misdemeanor to felony abuse of a family or household member.

Davis’s bail was set at $25,000.
