Brandon Cayetano, owner of Hawaii All-Star Paintball and Airsoft Games and the only son of former Gov. Ben Cayetano, died early Tuesday at Straub Clinic & Hospital.

Many of his friends posted messages on his Facebook page, extending their condolences to his family and sharing memories including his impact on the sport of paintball in Hawaii.

Longtime friend Scott Ige said he was like an older brother to him. "He was always there when you needed a friend," he said. "He wouId help in any way he could."

Ige further described him as humble with a good sense of humor.

He was a great man! I played paint ball in high school (80's) at his first field in Waimanalo when his company was called The Adventure Games (TAG) if I remember correctly. He was one of the first pioneers of the sport on Oahu. Had so much fun playing against adults, especially the Jar Heads from K-Bay and the team called the Wizards. Good O'le days. RIP Brandon!
