Traffic stop leads to arrest of OCCC escapee

A routine traffic stop early Wednesday morning ended more than two months of freedom for a 32-year-old Oahu Community Correctional Center escapee, police said..

The inmate failed to return to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center  on Jan 7, police said.

He was caught at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday when he was pulled over near the Pearl City Shopping Center during a traffic stop and was arrested for escape.
