Hawaii island police have identified the victim in a murder investigation as 59-year-old Robert A Evanson of Hilo.

Evanson was found dead in an apartment in a complex on Ululani Street in Hilo on Wednesday after police received a disturbance call at 7:32 p.m.

Police arrested a 52-year-old Pahoa woman and 63-year-old Hilo man on suspicion of second-degree murder. They were released from custody Friday as the investigation continues.
