A 32-year-old Aiea man assaulted another man in the neighborhood early Sunday morning after he was allegedly confronted for throwing rocks at an apartment complex, Honolulu police said.

The 56-year-old victim told police the suspect punched him in the chest after he confronted him around 4:30 a.m. for throwing rocks at the building, according to police records.

The suspect then pulled out a knife and taunted the victim, police said. He was located about 30 minutes later near 99-009 Kalaloa St. and arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threatening, according to police records.
