Marc Flores homered and drove in a career-high four runs and Hawaii capped an impressive weekend with a 12-4 blowout win over No. 15 UC Santa Barbara on Sunday afternoon at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Seven of Hawaii's nine position starters had at least two hits as the Rainbow Warriors (14-13, 2-1) snapped a 10-game series winning streak by the Gauchos (19-5, 1-2).

UH finished with a season-high 16 hits and had 44 total in the series. Its 22 total runs over the three games is the most the 'Bows have scored in a conference series since joining the Big West last year.

Jarrett Arakawa (3-1) picked up the win allowing one earned run on five hits in six innings with no walks.

Lefty Domenic Mazza (2-2) gave up eight runs on seven hits in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss for UCSB.

Hawaii scored eight times in the fourth for its highest scoring inning since plating eight runs in a win over Grambling State on April 4, 2012.

UH scored eight runs in a game only once last season.

Juliene Jones snapped an 0-for-35 streak at the plate with an RBI single in the fourth and finished 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs. Trevor Podratz went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Marcus Doi and Stephen Ventimilia each had two hits and two RBIs.

Hawaii returns home for a six-game homestand against Big West powers UC Irvine and No. 5 Cal Poly. UH and the Anteaters play the first of a three-game series on Friday night.
