2 men arrested after altercation at Kapolei Walmart lot

Police arrested two men following a wild altercation in Kapolei early Friday morning.

According to police, two pairs of men were involved in an initial altercation in the parking lot of the Kapolei Walmart. When the men returned to their vehicles, one of them, a 36-year-old Kapolei man, rammed his car into the vehicle carrying the other party.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 33-year-old Kapolei man exited the vehicle and assaulted the other driver with a baseball bat, causing bodily injury.

The 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal property damage. The 33-year-old man was arrested for assault and two outstanding warrants.
