University of Hawaii outside linebacker David Manoa has been diagnosed with a dislocated left kneecap and will miss the rest of spring football training.

The injury will not require surgery, and Manoa is expected to fully recover in six weeks. He suffered the knee injury during Saturday’s practice.

Manoa, a freshman from San Mateo, Calif., redshirted during the 2013 season.

Quarterback Ikaika Woolsey took all the first-team reps during this morning’s practice, the fourth of 15 this spring.

Head coach Norm Chow said quarterback Jeremy Higgins played well this morning.

Chow said it is “too early” to name a No. 1 quarterback. Woolsey, Higgins and Taylor Graham will continue to split reps in practice.

For the fourth consecutive practice, the No. 1 offensive line was this: left tackle Elijah Tupai, left guard Kody Afusia, center Ben Clarke, right guard Dave Lefotu and right tackle John Wa’a.

The Rainbow Warriors’ next spring practice is Tuesday morning, beginning at 7:15. All spring practices are open to the public.
