Honolulu Police released security-camera video and images in hopes of identifying a gunman who robbed a Tesoro gas station in Palama earlier this month.

The video showed the suspect, dressed in black, as he approached the counter and pulled out a handgun. Police said he demanded money and fled on foot toward Lakimela Lane at about 10:16 p.m. on April 1.

The man was carrying a black backpack, and wore a hooded black, zippered sweatjacket, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Honolulu Police or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellular phone.

The perp and his friends must be having a good laugh over his photo. Tesoro better change their cameras or they may be robbed again soon.
