Suspected car thief runs red light, gets arrested

A man driving an allegedly stolen car ran a red light, leading to his arrest in Kaneohe.

Police said an officer stopped the 34-year-old suspect after he ran a red light at about 1:50 a.m. Monday.

Officers discovered he was driving a car that had been reported stolen and arrested him on suspicion of auto theft.

I think was more than that. Reports always say, stopped for "traffic violation." It makes it easy for HPD to catch these guys. They not too smart.
