Man arrested after Waimanalo crash in stolen car

Honolulu police said a man arrested after an accident in a stolen vehicle is suspected in two other auto theft cases.

The 31-year-old suspect tried to run away from police after a traffic accident in Waimanalo Wednesday, police said.

The suspect was driving a car that had been reported stolen.

Officers arrested him on suspicion of auto theft and driving without a license.
