Man seen breaking into parked car in Waikiki

A witness called police after seeing a suspect break into a parked car in Waikiki, leading to the arrest of a 21-year-old man.

The witness saw the suspect break the driver's side window of a parked car in Waikiki at about 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

An arriving officer saw the suspect reach into the vehicle, police said. The 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft.
