Kahekili Highway reopened after vehicle flips

Kahekili Highway is reopened at Haiku Road after a vehicle flipped over on the highway at about noon Wednesday, injuring a 77-year-old man.

Police closed the highway in both directions while Traffic Division officers investigate the crash scene.

Paramedics took the 77-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
