Lihue Walmart evacuated after bomb threat

The Lihue Walmart was evacuated Friday night after a man called the store at 9:14 p.m. and said that there was a bomb in the toy department, Kauai police said.

Customers were evacuated and entrances to the store were closed, police said.

Police conducted a search but did not find a device.  The search was completed at 11:25 p.m., according to police.
