An armed robber fled with money from a Kapahulu-area business Saturday night, according to police records.

A 34-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man told police that a man entered a business around 9:05 p.m. and took an undisclosed amount of money while brandishing a dangerous weapon.

The suspect remains at large.

Also Saturday night, a 49-year-old homeless man attempted to rob a 71-year-old man in the Kakaako industrial area, according to police records.

Police said the suspect in that case attempted to take the victim's property by force around 6:29 p.m.

Police arrived and arrested the man, who has no local address, about 20 minutes later near Kakaako Makai Gateway Park on suspicion of second-degree robbery.

Police also responded to an attempted robbery Saturday afternoon in the Waipahu area. A 38-year-old homeless man allegedly tried to use force to take property from another man around 2:15 p.m. Police arrested the man on suspicion of second-degree attempted robbery about 10 minutes later outside the Times Supermarket near Kamehameha Highway and Waipahu Depot Street, according to police records.
