Police asking for help to identify Kapiolani Blvd. robber

Honolulu police are asking the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection with a robbery on April 22.

According to police, the suspect approached a male victim on Kapiolani Boulevard near McCully Street about 3 a.m., brandished a dangerous weapon and took the man's wallet and cellphone. The victim's credit card was later used to withdraw money from an ATM in the Kaimuki area.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall weighing 180 pounds, with dark hair, a moustache and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black shorts and black sunglasses.
