A 25-year-old Pearl City man is accused of using Facebook to solicit an 11-year-old girl for sex, the Attorney General said in a news release Friday.

Jonathan Silva was indicted on one count of first degree electronic enticement of a child, the news release said.

Silva was arrested after he allegedly arranged to meet the girl at a Pearl City restaurant on April 30.

The indictment was the result of an investigation by the Department of the Attorney General Investigations Division’s Hawaii Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, assisted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
