Police are looking for a man with a cut toe, and a woman involved in a home invasion robbery Wednesday night in Kalihi.

Police said a 55-year-old man opened his door after a woman he knows knocked and asked to use his bathroom about 11:15 p.m. When the man declined, an unknown man pushed his way into the apartment and demanded the victim's wallet, police said.

At one point, the man who barged in cut his toe on a knife, police said.

Both suspects fled without any property.

Since the victim knew one of the suspects it should be sooner than later that we find out who the perps are. And then we won't hear about how they only received probation because they did not actually "steal" anything. Even if they did, they'd probably still get probation. Oh, well.

And the ironic thing about this is that the perp might even try to sue the victim for leaving a knife on the floor (if that was what it was).

The sad thing is that this man might even get only probation as he didn't actually come away with anything but a cut. And then he'll sue for having cut his foot on possibly a knife left on the floor.

was the knife on the floor and stepped on it or was it used as a weapon and the perp dropped it on his toe?

What a crazy story. Maybe he stepped on something on the floor. Yea - just picture this guy hiring Michael Green and he wins the case. What a joke, but interesting.
