Kapolei man arrested for reckless endangerment

A 42-year-old Kapolei man allegedly fired a gun into a concrete roof early Sunday morning in the Waipahu area during an argument with a group of men, police said. 

Police arrested the man at 1 a.m. on suspicion of first-degree reckless endangerment, according to police records. 

The suspect fired at the roof around 12:40 a.m. when the group argument escalated, police said. Police, already responding to a report of the argument, located the man and arrested him, according to police records. 

The suspect was released pending investigation.
