I am not the biggest fan of the Star Advertiser but sometimes they can only report the information they are provided by HPD and other sources. When dealing with juveniles very little information can be released.

If you have little or no information to report, why even print the story?

As Poipounder says clearly (for those who can read above the 8th grade level), newspapers cannot report all the details of cases involving juveniles. On the other hand, citizens have the right to know what kinds of crimes are happening in their community. That's why the story was printed.

First degree sex assault usually means there was some sort of body contact. Third degree means something was said or suggested of a sexual nature.

Actually, first degree involves sexual penetration. Third degree is contact.

That doesn't even makes sense. How can you have penetration without contact?

I hope who ever is handling this is knowledgeable about child sexual abuse because this kid is acting out what has happened to him. Victimization is all about power and control and this kid's parents need to have their closet cleaned and take responsibility for this kid's behavior. As for the negative comments from those that would not like to know about these kind of crimes, you really show a lot about what you have done and want to keep hidden.
