Makaha man arrested in Waianae stabbing

A 21-year-old Makaha man was arrested for investigation of attempted murder Wednesday after a stabbing near McDonald's restaurant in Waianae, police said.

Officers responded to 85-770 Farrington Highway about 2:10 p.m. and arrested the suspect.

The city Emergency Services Department said a 44-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious, but stable condition with an apparent cuts to his back, elbow, and rib cage.
