Travel site Jetsetter.com has named Lumeria Maui the “Best for Pampering” among its Best of the Best Hotels list.
Lumeria is a 24-room property in Makawao specializing in wellness retreats with a focus on yoga, where rates start at $329 a night.
The Best on the Beach award went not to a Hawaii resort, but to Grace Bay Club in the Turks and Caicos.
Other properties around the world were cited for Best Design (Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht, in the Netherlands), Best Nightlife (The Standard, High Line, New York), Best for Foodies (Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, the United Kingdom), and more than a dozen other categories.
