4 hurt, 1 critically, in Farrington Highway crash

Four people were injured, one critically, in a single-car crash near the Kahe Power Plant in Nanakuli on Sunday evening.

The crash occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Farrington Highway.

A 21-year-old man was critically injured and was transported to a local trauma center. Three others -- a 21-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman, and a 6-month-old girl -- were also taken to the trauma center with serious injuries.

Police closed the westbound lanes of Farrington Highway from Tracks Beach to Black Rock Beach for an investigation.

The road reopened by 11 p.m.
