Waikiki argument leads to arrest for assault

Police arrested a 20-year-old McCully woman early Sunday morning for allegedly assaulting a 27-year-old woman during an argument.

The two women were engaged in an argument when the suspect allegedly struck the victim in the face.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.

The incident occurred around 12:10 a.m. near the intersection of McCully Street and Ala Wai Boulevard.
