Traffic argument escalates, Australian visitor arrested

A 37-year-old Australian man was arrested early Sunday morning after he allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man during a traffic altercation.

The incident happened around 3:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of Kapiolani Boulevard.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.

It's a traffic incident where no vehicle impact occurs. Such as tail gating, cut off, blaring horns. People stop, then scrap. 14 years younger also makes a difference on a man over 50.
