Public advised to stay out of Kewalo Basin after wastewater spill

Warning signs are posted at Kewalo Basin after about 150 gallons of sewage mixed with air conditioning condensation water overflowed during a cleaning and spilled into the water.

The discharge came from a building at 919 Ala Moana Blvd., the Health Department’s Clean Water Branch said Monday.

The public is advised to stay out of the water at Kewalo Basin for a couple of days.
