Authorities charged a 29-year-old Waipahu man in the stabbing of another man in a fight on Sunday night at the Pearl Ridge Community Park.

Benedicto Ceasar was charged Tuesday with second-degree attempted murder. His bail was set at $50,000.

Police said the incident occurred at 8:45 p.m.

An ambulance took the victim, a 28-year-old man, to the hospital in serious condition with stab wounds to the chest, police reported.

Police also arrested Ceasar's 31-year-old brother, who drove the suspect away from the crime scene. Ceasar's brother was not charged in the stabbing.

Is this young man from Hawaii? If not and he is from another state how come we are taking care of him. Instead of putting him in out prison send him back to his country. I notice that we have along of killing and homeless (they are not from Hawaii) they are from other states and somehow we have became responsible to care for these people. What is going on? Send these people back when a crime is committed and brand them from returning back to Hawaii.
