Paramedics responded to the near drowning Wednesday afternoon of a 2-year-old boy at an Ewa Beach pool.

Emergency Medical Services reported the boy was found about 4:20 p.m. at the bottom of the pool at 91-1049 Puamaeole St. at the Palm Villas condominium.

A relative performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and revived the boy, said Emergency Services Department spokeswoman Shayne Enright.

He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Enright said the boy was reportedly under adult supervision.
